During these 2 days, we will take the train to explore the Cinque Terre using our 48-hour train pass. The small regional train connects all 5 villages perched on the sea: Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso. These five villages make up the Cinque Terre along about 8 kilometers of rocky coastline. The vineyards, typical of this region, have helped to create a unique landscape with extensive dry stone walls, winding paths, and beautiful beaches between the cliffs and crystal-clear water. The Cinque Terre not only offer the sea, but also beautiful paths with breathtaking views, churches and ancient castles, and first-class food and wine. The Cinque Terre are recognized as a national park and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Accompanied by our guide, you will enjoy the beauty of this region by traveling by train and on foot. We will return to the hotel in La Spezia at the end of the day for dinner and overnight stay.

Today you will enjoy a “running tour” to explore Trastevere, one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of Rome. This activity is for everyone and is aimed at practicing gentle movement while exploring the city and its beauties together with our “guide-runner”.
Trastevere is the oldest district in Rome and literally means “beyond the Tiber”, from the Latin transtiberim. It is truly rich in history and hides immense treasures, such as the Alley of the Athlete. It was here, in fact, during some excavations conducted in Rome in the Trastevere area in 1849, that the sculpture of the Apoxyomenos was discovered, which literally means “the one who cleans himself”.
Indeed, it is an athlete who cleans himself after the race, and the discovery was so sensational that the alley where it happened changed its name: from Vicolo delle Palme to Vicolo dell’Atleta. The statue is now found at the Vatican Museums. All of Trastevere has characteristic and suggestive alleys. We will discover all these alleys and learn their history, anecdotes, and the most hidden secrets.
