01 DAY - ARRIVAL - VENICE - SOAVE

Arrival at Venice airport. Meeting and reception at the airport by our assistant for a briefing on your stay. Rental car collection. Departure towards Verona. Welcome dinner and overnight stay in a charming relais in the Soave region.

02 DAY - SOAVE, VALPOLICELLA AND OLIVE OIL

In the morning visit to the medieval village of Soave: a small town in eastern Verona, famous throughout the world for the production of white wine, obtained with the GARGANEGA grape, grown in mixed calcareous soils -basaltics of its territory. The small village is completely surrounded by medieval Scaliger walls dating back to the mid-14th century, is dominated by a well-preserved castle (the best preserved in the Verona area) and has a rather intact medieval centre. In Soave you can visit some cellars located right in the town center as well as stop for lunch at a typical restaurant where you can taste the famous “bigoi” served with various sauces.

Then in the afternoon visit to a Veneto Valpolicella DOP oil producer: visit to the farm where the owner will explain the production phases of this product, visit to the Oil Museum and tasting.

Afterwards, a visit to a Amarone della Valpolicella wine producer: Amarone, like Brunello di Montalcino and Barolo, is one of the leading wines of Italian production. Visit of the cellar tasting of 3 wines.

Return to the hotel for overnight.

03 DAY – VERONA & DURELLO SPARKLING WINE

Morning dedicated to visiting Verona and its main monuments: Piazza Bra with the Roman Arena, Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori with the Arche Scaligere, the Juliet’s House with the famous balcony, etc.

In the afternoon, visit of a winery in the Monti Lessini region, between the provinces of Verona and Vicenza. Here Spumante Durello is produced, which comes from a main blend of Durella grapes (autochthonous vine) and which can be produced both with the charmat method and with the classic method. Visit of the cellar and at the end tasting of 3 wines.

04 DAY - VICENZA, BASSANO DEL GRAPPA and GRAPPA

In the morning, departure for Vicenza and visit of the Palladian city: the centre, the Basilica Palladiana, Piazza dei Signori, the facades of the buildings on Corso Palladio, the Teatro Olimpico, etc.

Continue to Bassano del Grappa, to discover the grappa production area. Grappa, a brandy obtained from pomace, often enriched with aromatic herbs, is a typically Italian product. A grappa must be strong but not burn the throat, it must be soft and fruity. You will have the opportunity to appreciate the qualities of this distillate for yourself during a tasting at a producer right near the famous Ponte degli Alpini di Bassano.

Return to the hotel in the Vicenza region for the overnight stay.

05 DAY - PADUA AND THE DOC WINES OF THE EUGANEAN HILLS

Departure towards Padua and day to discover the Euganei Hills Regional Park, which merge and merge into a plain full of orchards and vineyards: a territory of volcanic origin, rich in culture and tradition, which jealously guards the memories of a great past. The richness of the waters, the fertile land, the mild climate have made life possible in this land since ancient times. The strategic position and the beauty of the landscape have attracted ambitious conquerors, refined nobles, poets and writers of all times. The Euganean Hills area was the coveted residence of Venetian nobles and patricians, who built their “mountain” villas here to spend their holidays. This area is full of splendid villas, monumental gardens, extensive parks, designed by master architects of every era, with box labyrinths, majestic cycles of frescoes, reciting statues, secular trees and games of ‘water. At a renowned winery in the area, tasting of red and white wines of the D.O.C. from the Egunean Hills, accompanied by olive oil bruschetta, and also a glass of Spumante DOCG Colli Euganei Fior d’Arancio, obtained from Moscato Giallo grapes. In the afternoon you will arrive in Padua with the Basilica of Sant’Antonio and its historic centre, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza della Frutta, Piazza dei Signori, University of Bo’, etc. . Overnight in a Hotel-Villa along the Brenta River, where the villas of the ancient Venetian nobles are located, such as Villa Nazionale Pisani in Stra, Villa Widmann, Villa La Malcontenta, etc.

06 DAY – TREVISO and THE PROSECCO ROUTE

In the morning, departure for Treviso, an important agricultural and industrial center located in the rich Venetian plain, which has preserved its historic center surrounded by walls. Since the 14th century, the fate of the city has been linked to its illustrious neighbour, Venice.

In the afternoon you will travel the Prosecco road from Conegliano to Valdobbiadene. You will have the opportunity to stop in various cellars to taste the famous Prosecco D.O.C.G, and admire the vineyard landscape that surrounds you.

Return to the hotel along the Brenta Riviera.

07 DAY – VENICE

After breakfast departure for Venice. You can return your rental car in Piazzale Roma and a private motorboat will take you to your hotel in the historic centre.

For those who have never been to Venice, a visit to the city and its symbolic monuments: Piazza San Marco, its Basilica, the Bell Tower, the Procuratie, Palazzo Ducale, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs.

If it is not your first visit to Venice, we recommend to visit the islands of the lagoon or the most hidden corners to discover the small artisans, the wonderful churches such as the Madonna dell’Orto, the lesser known neighborhoods such as Cannaregio or Castello.

We can organize wine lovers a visit to a cellar (the only one) located in Sant’Erasmo, the island also called the vegetable garden of Venice where frittata and vegetables are grown which are then sold at the Rialto market. Sant’Erasmo produces a very particular and savory white wine, which is aged in bottles kept at the bottom of the lagoon.
