Begin your tour in Cividale with its archaeological museum, Cormons with its history, and Udine, the second largest city of the region. Here you can explore the castle, Piazza della Libertà and the particular town Hall which has the style of Venice’s Doge’s Palace. Continue the tour with Spilimbergo and its Romanesque-Gothic cathedral and the Mosaics’ school, and San Daniele, located in the middle of Friuli, where you can taste its famous ham. Enjoy a two-hour boat trip in Grado exploring the lagoon and the fishermen’s cottages before continuing to the ancient Roman colony of Aquileia where you can admire Romanesque-Gothic buildings and magnificent mosaics. Taste an excellent coffee in Trieste before beginning the visit of the city. Here you can admire: Piazza dell’Unita d’Italia, Palazzo Comune, Palazzo del Governo, San Giusto Cathedral, the church of S.Maria Maggiore, the typical small port and the magnificent Miramare Castle, situated on a cliff high above the sea in the Gulf of Trieste.
