After breakfast, aboard your splendid vintage car<\/strong> (1-day rental with delivery and collection at the hotel) you will follow an itinerary taken from the road book of the legendary Mille Miglia <\/strong>: via Ville di Corsano in the Crete Senesi<\/strong>, skirting the famous monastery of Monte Oliveto Maggiore<\/strong> towards the south in the direction of Pienza. You will visit one of the oldest pharmacies<\/strong>, that of Santa Maria Novella<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the morning you will have the exclusive opportunity to visit the oldest weavers in Venice<\/strong>, the Bevilaqua<\/strong> atelier.<\/p>\n

It has been producing luxury handcrafted fabrics<\/strong> of high quality for furnishings, interiors and upholstery. Production of brocades, damasks, satins, trimmings, velvets and hand-woven velvets. You will visit the room still equipped with 18th century looms and warpers, which belonged to the Venetian school of silk weaving, which until the introduction of the Jacquard machine (about 1804) had always been used manually. You will have access to the company’s famous historical archive, which contains more than 3,500 model designs.<\/p>\n
